each hold is assigned a par (3, 4 or 5). The organizer provides a scorecard to each team.
Teams are formed before teeing off (generally foursomes), with accolades given to the best individual finish and best team finish.
At each bar, a golfer must drink an alcoholic beverage (size and strength don't matter) to make par. Each additional drink consumed subtracts 1 from the score. You cannot score less than 1 on a hole (i.e. somebody has 4 drinks at a par 3 bar. This results in a score of 1 for the hole and some time on the putting green).
If you don't finish a drink, but it is less that 1/2 full, +2 to the score. If it is more than 1/2 full, +10 to the score.
If you don't drink, or choose to only drink something non-alcoholic, you must stand before the assembled masses and publicly proclaim: "I am a pussy and cannot drink any more!" 10 strokes are then added to the score and the player should be disqualified from playing the rest of the holes.
Try it sometime, I bet you'll like it! Just because I didn't want to lose this precious gem in the midst of packing. I'm leaving Friday morning but have spend tomorrow night elsewhere. Who knows if I'll be packed in time or not, but I'm off down the pub to meet a British lad named Rich for a few pints in an hour.
