hacking up a lung || 31.07.03 at 13:02
My uncle stuck me in the arm with a needle, it's not that I'm afraid of them, but I could never be a junky. It didn't really hurt, in fact it brought about instant relief, ahhh, the power of an IV. It's great having a paramedic in the family when one is so sick, and currently without health insurance. Thankfully it kicks in September first - one more month to go.
Yes, health insurance through the new job, which is pretty slow going, but I suppose most jobs are at the beginning. It's killing me, because I know I could make a hell of a lot more doing what I was doing previously. The company seems okay, I've made a few friends there, one imparticularly who's also great friend with my aunt (she works there too).
As a city, I don't think Richmond's all it's cracked up to be, although I really haven't given it a fair chance. Only time will tell I suppose. I do miss Boston something fierce though, I wonder if that's where my home stateside is. I'll give it another month, and then we'll see.
For now, I'm going to rush out and buy the bookclub read for August, and finish coughing my lungs up. Hopefully my temperature will be down tomorrow.
